Our client is an international business in the life sciences sector who are expanding and are looking for a Junior Accountant to join their team for a 5-month contract.
Junior Accountant (French and English speaking), Geneva, Switzerland, 5-month contract, 50-80%
This exciting opportunity involves providing support for all accounting transactions on a daily basis and controlling the expenses. The position reports to the Chief Accountant.
The responsibilities will include:
Managing unpaid invoices and supplier reminders
Checking and processing invoices and expense reports
Analysing the variances between invoices and purchase orders
Verifying the accuracy of payments made to suppliers
Archiving and filling accounting reports
Working with other departments and suppliers
Degree in Finance or Federal Certificate of Competence in Commercial Business (CFC - employé de commerce) or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting
Fluency in French and English
MS Office (good Excel skills) are required
Good knowledge of SAP Business One or Abacus

For the Purchasing Manager - Civil Engineering, we are looking for high calibre leaders with the following skill sets:
A bachelor's degree
A minimum of 8+ years' experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, construction projects / sites
Experienced at competently leading across complex projects
Fluent in both French and English with good German language skills
Ability to liaise with cross-functional teams, managing several projects (internally/ externally)
Working in a team and taking a hands on approach to solve problems
A collaborative mind-set to drive results to achieving high customer expectations
