Following enhanced developments throughout their business units my client, a large multinational organisation seeks a Senior Demand Planner. This position has been created as part of a wider Process Harmonization Project which will ultimately culminate in greater efficiencies, digital working, and the implementation of a new lean ERP system for the whole business.
Senior Demand Planner, Aargau, Switzerland
The Senior Demand Planner will be responsible for all Demand Planning activities including statistical forecasting, operational cycle processes and process optimisation within the Supply Chain function. Ideally having operated in a FMCG or Manufacturing environment you will have prior knowledge of Supply and Demand Planning insights, the ability to shape and understand the structure of the Senior Demand Planner role and a proven track record in developing best in class processes and operational topics related to Demand Planning.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with a proven record in delivering Demand Planning process improvements to senior stakeholders in a concise and clear manner. By taking a proactive Project Management approach you will be able to identify improvement opportunities and implement these into the overall Supply Chain harmonisation project.
As Senior Demand Planner we are looking for high calibre candidates with the following:
Educated to degree or equivalent level
Strong analytical and process skills with some previous analytical experience (preferred in Logistics and / or Supply Chain)
Project Management expertise, PMP/PMI qualification would be an advantage
3+ years working experience in an international environment in Demand or Supply Planning
Knowledge of various ERP systems and any system implementation experience is strongly advantageous
Strong communication skills when dealing with diverse, international stakeholders
Fluent in English, any other language would be an advantage

Support employee engagement initiatives to ensure ongoing improvements
Manage their internal “education academy” and talent development
Maintains accurate employee information on their HCM (Workday) and preparation of job references
Support on HR projects internationally where appropriate
Previous experience as a HR Business Partner/Manager is essential
Strong knowledge of Swiss labour law
Must be business fluent in English, German and French languages
Flexibility to travel throughout Switzerland occasionally (10%) and must hold a valid driver’s licence. Pool cars can be provided or if you have and wish to use your own vehicle, travel expenses will be paid.
Formal training within HR or business-related field
