In collaboration with our client, a market leader in the consumer goods sector, we are seeking a Global Procurement Manager – Marketing Content. In this strategic role, you will operate in a senior capacity delivering cost reduction programs for the category on a global scale, through the implementation of best practice and management of Procurement activities. As Global Category Manager, you will adopt and drive a continuous improvement mindset, while liaising and managing with various stakeholders located locally and globally, and, in particular, within the Marketing and Creative divisions of the business.


Global Procurement Manager – Marketing Content, Zurich, Switzerland


Reporting directly to the Global Head of Indirect Procurement, the Global Procurement Manager – Marketing Content will ideally have solid experience within sourcing services within the Marketing space, with specific experience of having previously shown expertise in the development of global strategies. You will be proficient in stakeholder management, with the ability to identify purchasing and supplier risks before reporting them as appropriate. Furthermore, you will possess a customer centric mindset, and show awareness and understanding of the target consumer and their experience.


The main tasks and, as such, the expertise needed will be focussed on the strategic development of Business Partnering, Productivity and Savings, Supplier Relationship Management, Category Management, and Digitalisation. This would therefore suit an individual with an entrepreneurial mindset, excellent strategic thinking ability and previous experience of operating in complex matrix organisations.



As a Global Procurement Manager – Marketing Content we are looking for high calibre candidates with the following skillsets:

  • Educated to degree or equivalent level
  • Ideally 5+ years’ experience in a similar position covering Category Management responsibilities
  • Procurement expert with experience of operating on a global scale with a drive to deliver best-in-class purchasing methods
  • Ability to cover and take on additional subcategories that are not covered by existing category policies
  • Strong influencer who has the readiness to identify cost reduction opportunities with the aim of achieving service targets with respect to quality, costs and time
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken, French would be desirable but not essential
  • Accustomed and knowledgeable in using SAP system and related software
