Job Description

My client is a mid-sized global chemicals business that is looking to strengthen its Finance team at its Basel headquarters in this newly created role as a Corporate Functions Controller.

Corporate Functions Controller – Basel

You will be working closely with areas such as HR, R&D and Procurement, in order to enhance the FP&A and Controlling activities for these functions.

 

The role of the Corporate Functions Controller will include:

  • Support budget and forecast process for HQ functions, including HR, R&D and Procurement
  • Analysis and reporting of functional KPIs
  • Cost accounting
  • Provide financial analysis for strategic initiatives
  • Involvement in a range of projects

 

Skills required:

  • Degree level qualification in Finance and Accounting or related subject
  • Prior experience in a Controlling role, ideally in an international environment
  • Fluency in English is essential, German would be preferred
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Prior experience working on SAP would be beneficial
  • Strong communication skills
