Financial Controller, Rotterdam, Netherlands

Working with many national and international contacts, as Financial Controller you will have responsibility for financial reporting across a BV and multiple entities. This could be an ideal first step out of Big 4 or the next phase in your career progression in industry!

Key responsibilities

• Preparation of internal and external reporting for 50+ companies across various disciplines
• Analysis and review of monthly financial information
• Financial statement preparation according to Dutch GAAP as well as monthly reporting in IFRS
• Budget vs actual reporting/analysis on overheads
• Intercompany reconciliations and VAT reporting

Ideal profile

• 3+ years’ experience in an audit/accountancy firm
• Ideally with Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance
• Good attention to detail coupled with strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of SAP would be preferable or any similar ERP
• Good communication skills, proactive attitude and good team player ability
• Fluency in Dutch AND English (spoken and written) is essential
