Job Description

We’re recruiting an HR Specialist for an international tech business based in Amsterdam. This is a newly created role for the organisation and will offer Human Resources support to employees across Benelux region.

Responsibilities of the HR Specialist:

  • First point of contact for managers and employees regarding HR queries
  • Administration for the full employee lifecycle
  • Liaising with legal experts if there are employee relation issues
  • Onboarding new hires into the organisation, ensuring they are set up correctly
  • Supporting managers with sickness issues
  • Managing holiday requests
  • Conducting exit interviews
  • Improving the existing guidelines and handbook
  • Preparing the information for the external payroll provider
  • Offering ad hoc support to the Finance team when required


Experience required:

  • Previous experience in an HR Specialist role
  • Knowledge of preparing payroll information for external provider
  • Some knowledge of Finance an advantage
  • Strong administration skills
  • Detail orientated
  • Ability to work independently
  • Fluent in English
