Responsibilities
The Financial Accounting Manager will work for a leading global organisation and will play a key role in the finance function. The role has responsibility for reporting the results of the corporate entities and for all related necessary accounting processes.

Major tasks include:
•Preparation of monthly financial results
•Preparation of the year end results and manage the day–to–day relationship with the auditors during the process
•Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts
•Lead the forecasting and budgeting process for the corporate entities
•General ledger accounting, inter-company transactions, expense processing
•Responsible for the preparation of all payments, including approval and payment processing
•Lead on the development and upgrade of the corporate FICO SAP environment
•Payroll accounting
•Complete VAT returns
•Maintain the internal accounting control system
•Strong team player, flexible, reliable and passionate in the daily work
•Lead a small team
•Project work as required

Qualifications
•Bachelor Degree in Finance or Economics
•3-5 years accounting experience in an international environment
•Working knowledge of IFRS and Swiss GAAP (OR)
•Good systems skills, in particular SAP and Hyperion Financial Management, and experience of developing processes
•Fluency in English required; German would be an asset
•Professional communication skills and ability to work cross-culturally with top management and their advisors
•Ability to exercise effective judgement within constrained timescales
